Avalanche
Avalanche (AVAX) is a blockchain network known for its robust smart contract capabilities, designed to support decentralized applications (dApps), NFTs, and other advanced blockchain platforms on a large scale.
The network features a unique structure that allows users to create an unlimited number of interoperable blockchains. Avalanche utilizes three separate blockchains to ensure it can scale effectively to meet the high transaction speeds and throughput demands required for mainstream adoption.
These three blockchains include: the Exchange Chain (X-Chain), which facilitates the decentralized exchange of digital assets; the Platform Chain (P-Chain), which organizes validators within the Avalanche network and enables users to launch their own blockchains; and the Contract Chain (C-Chain), where smart contracts are deployed and executed.
Avalanche’s innovative triple blockchain architecture enables it to handle transactions efficiently at scale. This capability has fostered partnerships between Ava Labs, the entity behind Avalanche, and major enterprises and global businesses, including Mastercard and Deloitte.
